This year’s theme for Capitol Heights’ Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes will be “A Vintage Snapshot and Holiday Treat” and will feature the houses of St. Charles Avenue.  We hope to make this year’s tour the best ever and will need plenty of volunteers. Below is a list of areas where help will be needed along with a description of each.

House Helpers- Volunteers are scheduled for 2 ½ hour shifts in homes on the tour. They
greet guests and give information about the house and our neighborhood.
Cookie Bakers- These helpers have the joy of baking cookies for the visitors. What a yummy job!
Ticket Sales- Volunteers will help in delivery of the tickets to local merchants and gathering of the sale money along with any unsold tickets. There will also be a ticket booth the afternoon of the tour.
Security/Transportation- Volunteers will be assisting visitors on the tour with rides and
safety issues.
Neighborhood Cleanup- These volunteers will assist in cleanup a week before the tour and make sure every thing is tidy on the day of the tour.

The Christmas Tour is our largest fund raiser for the year and is a wonderful way for you to participate in helping our neighborhood become one of the best in Montgomery.
