CAPITOL HEIGHTS CIVIC ASSOCIATION REGULAR MEETING
August 14, 2007

The Capitol Heights Civic Association held its regular meeting on August 14, 2007 at the Capitol Heights United Methodist Church. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p. m. by Helen Harris, President.

Guest speakers were: Mayor Bobby Bright, candidate for reelection and Tracy Larkin, candidate for City Council District 3.

Ken Moates announced he will have a dump truck parked at his home for two days and he asks everyone to bear with him.

Reverend Shavers, of CHUMC, is asking for volunteers to assist with a housing restoration and research fair they are having in January.

A work day has been scheduled for October 20th to install shelves and to inventory items in the shed.

A motion to adjourn was adopted. The meeting was adjourned.
