CAPITOL HEIGHTS CIVIC ASSOCIATION REGULAR MEETING

The CHCA held its regular meeting on December 12th, 2006 at the Capitol Heights United Methodist Church. The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p. m. by Helen Harris, President.

The guests at tonight’s meeting were Gene Tucker and John Norguard, evening shift police officers assigned to our neighborhood (and others).

The minutes for the October meeting were approved as read.

The Treasurer’s report was presented and is attached to these minutes.

Cindy Keeping presented a report on the progress of the Christmas tour. There are 9 houses on the tour. Horse and carriage rides are being provided by Lasting Impressions for $5.00 per person. The tour begins at the Medicine Shop. Volunteers are needed beginning Saturday morning to begin placing decorations.

Bob Knapp requested volunteers to work security.

It was reported that Paul Rawlinson still needs ticket sellers.

Cookies for the tour need to be delivered to 2118 St. Charles on Friday evening.

It is very important to have enough volunteers for the tour’s activities as it is important that we are able to accommodate our guests.

A motion to adjourn was adopted. The meeting was adjourned at 8:07 p. m.
