Marketing Chair Loran Farrow is doing a great job for us. Southern Accents and Southern Living have been contacted. Cynthia was interviewed by Future City Magazine for their Aug/Sept issue. HPC will hold their Sept. meeting in the neighborhood & invite the press. Loran’s done a high level marketing plan for us. It includes definition of when to update newspapers, radio, etc. Also displaying signage, example – our Birthday sign – it moves every week starting in July.
Centennial Restaurant – CHUMC Alexine Saunders
Priorities for now:
Merchandise Chairperson & Funding – Vendor Donations.
Loran Farrow and Bruce George (mdse.)
Earlier EC announced that CHCA funds wouldn’t be used for the Centennial. I agreed
with the statement at the time. How can CHCA not contribute financially? That was never my intention. Share info to help decide what $ CHCA can afford and we’ll vote on it next meeting. Need income/expenses for last year ready for next meeting.
BONDS $3500 Sign & Centennial. 10% contribution. 8 classes / workshops. Spend
funds as granted.
Review Income.
Review Budget.
Think on CHCA $ contribution.
Sponsors for Centennial. Asking for additional contributions. Businesses. Friends – folks that used to live here. We will contact them if you aren’t comfortable with doing that.
