CAPITOL HEIGHTS CIVIC ASSOCIATION REGULAR MEETING
 October 10, 2006
The Capitol Heights Civic Association held its regular meeting on October
 10, 2006, at the Capitol Heights United Methodist Church. The meeting
 was called to order at 7:10 p. m. by Jewell Pitts, Vice President.
Guest speaker was Mayor Bobby Bright. He opened the floor for questions.
CHCA was awarded a BONDS grant of $2,400 for additional installation of
 signage in the neighborhood. Discussion are occurring regarding
 installation of the signs.
City will be distributing mulch for our trees. $750 will be used to
 purchase the mulch. $750 is not a new purchase
Cindy Keeping reported there are five homes participating in the tour to
 date. Cindy also asked for volunteers for ticket sales, baking cookies,
 house helpers and more.
A motion to adjourn was adopted. The meeting adjourned at 8:40 P.M.
