CAPITOL HEIGHTS CIVIC ASSOCIATION REGULAR MEETING
September 11, 2007

The Capitol Heights Civic Association held its regular meeting on September 11, 2007 at the Capitol Heights United Methodist Church. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p. m. by Helen Harris, President.

Guest speakers were: Sgt. Garrett and Corporal Rodgers, Crime Prevention Unit – Neighborhood Watch of the Montgomery Police Department; Tracy Larkin and Janet May, candidates for City Council District 3.

Several announcements after the speakers:
• BONDS is sponsoring the Mayors Neighborhood Meeting on September 21st from 3-9PM.
• Sign up sheets are available to volunteer to help with the Christmas tour and other items
• On September 29th a session to do a mock up of the Christmas Float will be held. Cindy Keeping will provide details later on.
• Mark Lawrence recently cleaned the Lions.

A motion to adjourn was adopted. The meeting was adjourned at 8:50PM.
