President Reynolds discussed the following issues:

1. The past Christmas Tour – Ken thanked everyone that helped. It was a great tour! He commended Jill Simmons on the wonderful job she did on the publicity. We raised around $2,000 net profit this year! T-shirts were available for sale. Thanked Jack Durham for his design help. Thanked John Thornhill and boys for help with luminaries.

2. Newsletters were available for distribution throughout neighborhood.

3. Ken announced that Ms. Julie Borden, Ms. Range’s granddaughter, had purchased Ms. Range’s home on James Street.

4. Ken mentioned the restoration that Paul Ivey was doing to the home on the corner of S. California and Madison. It looks great!

6. Mr. Bowles from the Capitol Heights Church of Christ once again brought up their sign for approval. They will re-submit their proposal to the ARB January 25 without any changes. Our association will stand by our view of approval of the sign with no interior lighting. A motion was made by Trina Binkley and seconded by Scott Simmons to stand by our position. The vote was 24 for the motion; 3 opposed the motion. The motion carried.
